Privacy Statement is a leading grassroots campaign group that has supporters and followers across the whole of the UK.  You may be assured that we take the collection, use and retention of your personal information seriously and below we specify how we use the information we have about you.

Collecting and using your information

Your information comprises:

  2. Address
  3. Telephone number
  4. Email address

and is collected by us and stored on our secure web server at  It is used by the campaign organiser Christine Melsom and her secretary who both have fully protected PC with up to date firewall and anti virus software.
Your information is collected and retained by us for the following purposes:

  1. to issue campaign newsletters by post
  2. to issue campaign newsletters by email
  3. to issue the occasional 'newsflash' email
  4. to contact you at your request

When you visit our web site our web server stores the IP address of your Internet Service Provider and the date and duration of your visit.  This information is used for statistical reporting.

We do not collect this type of information about you.

Sharing your information

Your information will not be forwarded to any parties outside our group without your consent.  We have strict controls that ensure that access to your data is restricted to no more than four people at any one time.

If no data activity such as forum postings or changes to personal information occur within 12 months then your information will be deleted from our database.
