r if the level of Council Tax charges is the only consideration, perhaps Scotland (South Lanarkshire) would attract householders in houses with bands up to and including band 'D'.
However, bands E, F, G and H have been increased disproportionately, recently, as follows:

Band D 1,101

E 1,447
F 1,789
G 2,156
H 2,697
My band 'F' has increased from 1,590 to 1,789 i.e. a 12.5 % increase in the last year.!
