Yet another expense being passed on to the smaller councils. If it is happening here chances are that it will creep across the country. District councils precept generally rises pretty slowly. Why? They just get another uncapped council to do the dirty work

nd the govt. condones it by continually refusing to introduce any cap on the amount that towns and parishes can push up their demands.
