CTCBC have 'form' clearly when dealing with victims of damage to their homes. Something needs to be changed as this is a scandalous situation. This family have suffered for 7 yrs through no fault of their own. I have had over 20 yrs of hell due to a nightmare neighbours rogue builder damaging my home of 16 yrs. Paying 2 lots of Council Tax when in a desperate plight is NOT on. People should be helped not 'harmed'. They have no idea of the suffering involved and the stress of it all financially and personally. This 'fettering of discretion' has to STOP.

ll truth passes through three stages.

First, it is ridiculed.

Second, it is violently opposed.

Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

@fmwales

When are you going to address such injustice due to #fetteringdiscretion by #RCTCBC @AndrewMorganRCT

Time to sort such cases out as this is a scandal and causes untold suffering to victims having to pay TWO lots of Council Tax. What sort of country do we live in eh?

nd we have another one.

However it doesn't say if he is forced to pay Council Tax for 2 properties but I think from the attitude from RCTCBC we can take that as given.
